The Milesight UF51-504AE-W4 is a 5G Sub-6 GHz outdoor CPE that adds dual-band Wi-Fi 6 to the core UF51 platform. It delivers 5G cellular backhaul and local 802.11ax wireless access in a single IP67-rated polycarbonate and cast aluminium enclosure. The Wi-Fi 6 radio runs 4 x 4 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously, with a combined wireless throughput of up to 3.6 Gbps. A quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 at 2 GHz, built-in GPS, RS485 serial, and galvanically isolated DI/DO complete the hardware specification.

Power arrives via a single 802.3at PoE cable on the WAN port, keeping pole and wall installations free of separate DC wiring. Node-RED runs on-device for local edge logic. The UF51-504AE-W4 adds dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 4 x 4 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Maximum Wi-Fi throughput is 1200 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz. The UF51-504AE has no Wi-Fi. All other specifications – 5G bands, GPS, RS485, DI/DO, PoE PD input, IP67 rating, and dimensions – are the same across both variants. The W4 also draws more power: 9.9 W typical and 14.4 W maximum with Wi-Fi active, versus 4.8 W and 6.5 W on the base model. Both are within the 802.3at PoE budget.
