The Semtech 2000522 is the standard DC power and I/O cable for Sierra Wireless AirLink cellular gateways and routers. It terminates a keyed 4-pin Molex connector at the router end and bare stripped leads at the supply end, so you can wire it straight to a fused DC feed, a screw terminal block or a vehicle supply. Sierra Wireless is now part of Semtech, so this same part ships under both names. One cable covers the full AirLink line, from the older GX and ES gateways through to the current RV and LX ranges.

Wiring the 2000522: pinout and cautions

The router end is a keyed 4-pin Molex connector, so it only seats one way. The bare-lead end is colour coded: red is DC positive and black is ground. The white and green leads carry the gateway digital I/O, and on the RV and MP routers these typically provide ignition sense and a digital I/O line. Check the exact function of the white and green leads against your specific gateway hardware guide, as the I/O mapping differs across the AirLink range. Do not connect the I/O leads to the DC supply. When hardwiring to a vehicle or a fused feed, fit the fuse on the red lead close to the source.
