The Teltonika RUTC40 is a global 4G Cat 4 edge router built for industrial and IoT deployments that demand more than basic connectivity. A Telit cellular modem with worldwide LTE band support handles the connection. A dual-core 1.3 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, and built-in Docker support handle everything else – protocol conversion, local analytics, containerised applications, all running on the same device.
Housed in an anodised aluminium enclosure rated from -40 to +75 degrees C, the RUTC40 runs RutOS with full VPN, firewall, Modbus, MQTT, and IEC 60870-5 support. Dual Nano SIM slots with automatic failover keep the connection up if a carrier fails. Teltonika RMS integration means you can manage and update devices remotely without local access or static IPs.
